Gerina-Piller
She was born on the 29th of March, 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michel Mendoza is her birthname. Gerina Stevenson's parents were Mexican Alan Stevenson & Rita Stevenson. She is Mexican roots, yet is American by nationality. At a very young age her drive to become involved in sports was evident. Gerina began playing golf when she was 15. Gerina graduated from High School studies at Goddard High School. When she was in the high school level, she was able to win her first prize in the New Mexico state golf tournament. She was also a volleyball player who competed at the state level. She was enrolled at the University of Texas, Texas during the 2003 academic year. She won all of the tournaments she played in during her senior years. Through her college years, she received the Conference USA Player of The Year Award as well as The UTEP Female Sport Athlete Award.
